talking abt good food, i was just reading Dr leslie tay's ieatishootipost blog and i was really encouraged by some of the entries he posted.
esp this one :
http://ieatishootipost.sg/search/label/Baked%20Riceanyway, i had my very first official driving lesson today!!
for those of you out there who dont own a licence and think it's cool to have one, well, let me tell you that it requires a lot concentration on the road and more imptly, alot of courtesy.
well let me describe today;s experience....
initially i was really nervous that's cos i'm a noob or rather a Learner and i have this occasional fear of knocking someone down! uggghh. then i started getting panicky as i approached all the traffic junctions and the car stalled. then i heard a car horn. and al the cars had to change lanes.THAT'S WHY WE HAVE THE "L" PLATE. that helps alot. so to all you drivers out there, change lane the minute...no wait, the SECOND, you see an L plate infront of you or else , you and your car may need AA or the A (ambulance)
gosh. pls heed this advice esp if i;m behind the wheels.
watch out for a black honda.yeah. that's the car i'm driving.
in the 2hrs i spent driving, the car stall abtout 7 times under my control.heh.
i was allowed to travel around 20-30km/hr on 1st and 2nd gears for the first leson. all the cars behind started signalling right the minute they saw this big black turtle crawling on the extreme left lane.at first i felt malu but deep my mind i knew these motorists were once like me, so i dont have to be paiseh. heh.
after 1 hr almost everything got better as i managed to familarise myslef withthe pedals and controls . oh , i wanna thank the courteous motorists who understood my plight and gave way to me! (:
